Nature Field Creative Academy is the school every teacher wants to teach at, every parent wants to enroll their child at, and every child wants to attend. Nature Field is simply different from the rest. We harbor a facility that encourages hands-on learning, uninterrupted time with nature every day no matter the weather, and individualized student-inspired curriculum. We will start small, being directed and taught by Abigail Ramirez and Cinthia Rivas. We will open with two Kindergarten classes with eight children in each. As each class graduates, we will hire a teacher and add another grade (ie: when Kindergarten graduates, we will add a first grade, when first grade graduates, we will add a second grade and so on and so forth). We will do this every year through the sixth grade. We hope to create a community among our teachers, students, families, and neighbors. Nature Field Creative Academy is just as it sounds: we know that our indoor classroom isn’t our only classroom, or even our best classroom. Here childhood is a sacred time. It’s a place where learners can cultivate a joy for learning that they will carry with them well beyond their time at Nature Field.
